Pricing
- Dorman Maintenance Direct: All service requests for our in-house team have a 1-hour minimum charge and additional time is billed in 30-minute increments thereafter. Additionally, to allow for guarantees on any materials purchased, a 15%-30% material mark-up will apply for materials purchased for the completion of any job.
- $75/hr + materials - Standard Handyman Services
- $100/hr + materials - Pro-Services (skilled or licensed services such as structural repairs, tiling, etc.)
- (Large projects are bid on a case-by-case basis)
- Dorman Maintenance Contracting: Dorman Maintenance also uses subcontractors for single-trade and multi-trade projects, outside of its in-house team. Subcontractors commonly charge Dorman Maintenance preferred pricing (discounted rates due to the volume of work provided) and Dorman Maintenance, as a licensed contracting company, typically adds 10%-15% (but in some rare cases up to 30%) for overhead on subcontractor rates.
- Flat Rate Pricing: Some services performed are billed at a flat rate based on common industry pricing. As an example, 40-gallon water heater replacements are billed at a $1,750 (50-gallon would be $1,850) - this pricing includes the permit and new gas flex line; however, there will be additional charges if we have to rework the water line or vent.
